"The Baron had expressed his opinion several times that, he feels I am too young to lead a team." Elizabeth stated. "I think he is trying to prove that point, maybe figuring the harder he makes it the more likely the team will fail. He might have more than reason for, but, perhaps he has known me for so long or the fact that my father is in charge of the Order does not help in this."

Elizabeth took a sip of tea. "I am hoping maybe we can get Mr. Dumont back, at some point. I can not do anything about the current situation." Elizabeth then decided to maybe offer a little explanation. "The Baron sent a spy here, who Mr. Sung managed to discover. Being he was found, I think the Baron might wait to send another but just everyone," Elizabeth signaled that the servants were included in this, "please remain vigilant."

Sung looked at Lady Elizabeth. "Give yourself some credit My Lady, You knew something was not right there at the hedge row. I probably would have not even bothered with him. except you kept staring in that direction. So the credit should go to you. As for being too young. We prove the Baron wrong a little each day. I am glad about that. I hope it unsettles him." Sung told the team at the table.

“Most young,” Cronk agreed that most of the team were young of age. “Young and active!”

Cronk scratched his cheek as he thought of something else. I’m an amused voice, he said, “Even Baron young for leader. Age means nothing,” he said moving his finger that was scratching to point to his head. “You smart, Lady Boss!”

"Well, thank you Mr. Sung. In all honesty I was trying to find security breaches in the perimeter. I suppose that was accomplished."

"The team is on the young side, Mr Cronk but you are also correct that we are rather active, which is a good thing." Elizabeth agreed with the Orc.

"Thank you, Mr. Cronk. The Baron is in his 70s, I believe. Which I suppose, yes, is young for an Eldren." Elizabeth hadn’t really thought of it that way, but only being twenty made

"I do have another announcement, I do find this one much better than the last but, do not know how the rest of you will feel about it." Elizabeth stated.

She was pretty certain that Sung might like the news, as well.

Cronk liked the sound of that. With his fingers and thumb pinching his chin, Cronk voiced what he thought the news was. There was nothing greater than his thought.

“Pretty Flower work here?” he guessed.

"No, it was Miss Ipsum’s decision to work at headquarters. She is still a member of the team and will be here in the evenings." Elizabeth looked at Cronk, her voice with a soft tone. "I know you miss her being around during the day, I do as well," though Elizabeth realized it wasn't at all in the same way. "But by working at headquarters Miss Ipsum has a chance to work with someone she greatly admires. Miss Aberly, Gemma, is an highly acclaimed engineer."

Elizabeth then moved on to her other announcement. "My parents are coming to Paris. They want to take in the Exposition and meet all of you. Especially, the ones that my father has not met before. They will be staying through the Magic Guild Gala, which ..." Elizabeth paused and looked at Harold. "Do we know the date?"

"The invitation arrived today. It will be on May 25th." Harold responded.

"So, my parents will be here at least until then. They are not staying here, they have bought a smaller house a few blocks away, but did want you all to know." Elizabeth was excited about her parents coming. She hadn't seen them in months and missed them greatly.

Lily smiled as she liked the idea of Lady Elizabeth seeing her parents again. Though it did remind her of her dead mother and kidnapped father who was very distant to her, she had hopes of a brighter future working under Lady Elizabeth. She replied, "It would be a pleasant surprise to see Duke and Lady Ellington again. Its been a while since I last saw them." Dr. Jackal listened to the conversation but knew he was out of the loop on this topic since he lost his folks in his teen years. However he needed to know if he had to prepare for meeting such big shot nobles in the near future. So he asked, "Is there any preparations to be considered when meeting your family Lady Elizabeth?"

"My father will probably want to see your lab and Miss Ipsum’s lab. So, maybe making sure that is somewhat organized, would be good. If you want a helper can be assigned to you but I am not sure how you feel about that." Elizabeth paused. "Other than that just be polite and respectful towards them. My father is not a difficult man to get along with. He just expects people to do their jobs. My mother is very sweet and soft spoken, she is very easy to get along with." Elizabeth then paused. "Then again, maybe I see it as their daughter. Mr. Sung do have anything to add about my parents."

Cronk nodded his head as he took a bite. The food was delicious, to which Cronk was becoming accustomed.

Just before swallowing the bite, he said, “Cronk be good!” nodding his head in the affirmative.

Sung thought for a moment. "Show them the proper respect for their station and being Lady Elizabeth's boss in the order and father. Remember everything you do reflects on Lady Elizabeth good and bad. Take are Q's if we bow you do too. You can address them as My Lady or Duke Ellington and Lady Ellington when with them just address Lady Elizabeth as such as will I. dress your best My Lord is a smart man be ready for tuff questions about your work." Sung added to what Elizabeth said.

Cronk thought about his job. What could be a tough asked question about bashing something? He shrugged his shoulders, believing he had nothing to worry about. The doctor was evil. Cronk bash! He took another bite of his food.

Dr. Jackal and Lily had moved to the main course of Ham Steaks in Madeira Sauce which was a steak cut ham that was cooked and covered with a mushroom sauce. It tingled in the mouth as both Dr. Jackal and Lily took each bite. After swallowing his bite Dr. Jackal replied, "Understood. Though it will be hard to keep the lab perfectly clean since I have a lot of work to do on the remaining serums and the future autopsy. Perhaps it might be best to shut down and clean it up during their visit?" Lily then swallowed and chimed in, "Oh on that note Lady Elizabeth, we should be getting the new cupboard in for the mail room after lunch. I may need some muscle to move it in at that time."

"My father would not want to see a perfectly clean lab and you not working. Besides, it does not need to be perfectly clean, just organized as much as you can." Elizabeth turned to Lily, she had wondered if the young woman would be up for working, after the events if this morning but she seemed to be. "Of couse, Harold can get you some servants to help." She realized they had Cronk but it would not be appropriate to assign a task like that to a team member, when there were servants available. If Cronk volunteered that would be another matter.

One think Cronk enjoyed was being useful. Cronk needed to be active. If not active, he got bored. When Cronk got bored, Cronk usually ended up in some type of trouble. He either broke something, had too much to drink, woke up in another place that he didn’t remember how he had gotten there.

“Cronk help!” he insisted.

"By all means Mr. Cronk. If you wish to help, feel free." Elizabeth stated, then turned to Jackal. "Doctor, there will be a meeting of some if the team members, about a half an hour after we are finished with lunch. It is mostly regarding security for the team, and things those on the front lines of the investigation might face, things like that. While you are welcomed to attend, you do not need to be there." Elizabeth hadn't thought to inform the Doctor about the meeting before, but thought the wiser decision was letting him know.

Dr. Jackal swallowed his last bite and nodded at Lady Elizabeth. He replied, "It might be best if I do attend since I might mess up in my ignorance." Then the maid took his and Lily's empty plates and served them both Crêpes Suzette, which was covered in a buttery, orange-flavored sauce. Jackal then sipped his coffee before he took a bite of his dessert. Lily was ever the posh lady as she ate her food delicately compared to the good doctor who was savoring his meal like it was his last one. Lily then sipped her tea to wash her dessert down.

Elizabeth nodded. She likely wasn't going to finish her meal, as that kind of French food was notoriously rich. What was known as French peasant food, was far less so and more likely for lunch. Most of the time lunch was not so - well - French opting for more British fare, given the Lady of the house's heritage. Sometimes German food made its way to lunch. Normally it was whatever Greta decided to make. Tea was very British with a few French pastries perhaps thrown in. Dinner was whatever was requested. Elizabeth did want to include the team more in deciding upon meals. So, they could have more foods they were used to. She sipped her tea, and put her utensils on her plate to indicate that it could be taken away. The servant did so, while another served her dessert. It was a dance of sorts, perfectly timed.

Right as Elizabeth was debating if she really wanted dessert, as she was quite full, the errand boy Clement came rushing into the dining room.

He ran right over to Elizabeth, out of breath and disheveled. "Je ... il ... me prends ... presque" (I... he...take me...almost)

Anyone who had bothered to notice Clement's regular demeanor, would know this was out of character. He was normally very respectful of everyone, especially Elizabeth and Sung. And he normally seemed un-rattled by life. Here he was clearly upset and rambling in French.

"Someone get him a chair, and some water. Mr. Sung can you please ease his mind." Not having any mind magic, Elizabeth did not possess the ability to calm minds. She could just make people unconscious for healing.

The chair and water were quickly brought over and a concerned Elizabeth, eased the boy into the chair.

Sasha slowly rose from her chair, hand reaching into he coat instinct telling her to go for a weapon. "Dont après toi?" She asked Clement.

Clement took a sip of water, he still wasn't calm, but calm enough to respond. "un homme... vieil homme, anglais, il a essayé de m'attraper. Portait un chapeau, avait une moustache, parfois sur un œil - comme pour voir avec - avait une canne." (a man ...old man, English, he tried to grab me. Wore a hat, has a mustache, sometime over one eye - like to see with - had a cane)

Elizabeth's mouth dropped for a split second, "That description fits Lamaire." There was a break in Elizabeth's normally calm demeanor, she looked angry, and frustrated. The Eldren rubbed her temple for a moment but said nothing else. Anger unleashed from Elizabeth ended up with burnt stumps and blown up tables, and she was doing her best to control that.

Sasha looked at Cronk. "Want to go teach a lesson?"
