Vor had kept to himself as he digested all of the happenings, the hopeful jubilation of meeting the Ellington elders quickly mixing with the inquisitive concern of the errand boys experience. It made Vor wonder what the intent behind this was, though he didn’t let it dwell too deeply. Too many possibilities when dealing with madness.

Cronk could tell the boy was in distress. What could have caused this, he didn’t know. He couldn’t understand the scattered French words that the boy spoke, but when the Lady Elizabeth said it may have been the evil doctor, the look of surprise came upon the orc.

He saw the stress upon Lady Elizabeth. Leadership took its toll upon those who led. That was one reason Cronk chose not to lead. Well, that and Cronk couldn’t think fast like a leader should.

Cronk’s surprise turned quickly to anger. When the Masked One made the offer to set things right, Cronk stood from his chair, ready to go.

“Let’s go,” he stated with conviction to Sasha.

Elizabeth looked at Clement, "Est-ce que l'homme t'a suivi?" (Did the man follow you?")

Clement shook his head, "Je ne sais pas. Je viens de courir." (I don't know. I just ran.) The boys then added. "Je viens de chez Marcoise." (I came from Marcoise's.)

Elizabeth turned to the room. "He doesn't know if he was followed but he came from Marcoise's, which is a shop in the merchant district on Second Street. " Elizabeth figured Sasha would know where that was.

Sung walked over to the boy placing his hand on his shoulder. He said,"It's ok, young man." It was not the words, it was his tone. Then Sung walked over to the table. Sung reached into his pocket and pulled out a gold pocket watch and placed it on the table. "Well time is ticking team," he said with a grin trying to joke. "As Cronk like to call him, The Evil Doctor is on the move, also the dead religion of Children of the Sea is looking not so dead." Sung added. Sung opened the pocket watch on the inside of the lid was the circular etching of the Children of the Sea pattern. "I know Lady Elizabeth is going to address this more later. But I warn you all now do not go out unless you have to and not alone. Even the staff should not unless escorted. I think we are the ones being hunted now." Sung paused picking up his glass to drink some of his water with a slice of lemon so people can think about what he just said.

"Hearing of the boy is most disturbing. I doubt the Doctor is anywhere outside the house I don't think he is that foolish." Sung stared out the dining room window for a moment. "Not close anyways." said Sung walking over to the window and looking out.

Dr. Jackal finished his coffee and wiped his mouth before he cleared his throat. He then replied, “It sounds like it was either bad luck on Dr. Lemaire’s part or desperation. Either way we need to be careful since a cornered beast is still dangerous. After being spotted I doubt he would wait around for anyone to come for him. Though it is good that we are vigilant it would be best to get all the details from the boy. Perhaps this slip up will give us more clues on where Dr. Lemaire is holding up at.” Lily was impressed by Dr. Jackal’s cold logic in this situation.

Sasha agreed with Jackal and took her hand off her gun, plopping back in her chair and relaxing. "If he's not still looking for the boy." She said. "We might temporarily need a new runner. If he's around he'll be looking for Clement."

"I agree with Mr. Sung." Elizabeth turned towards the servants. "Let every servant know no one is to go out by themselves. Two people will make all errand runs until further notice." The servants easily agreed and a few went go tell the others, while others stayed in the room

"Will he try again?" Clement, had calmed down enough to speak in English, was a mature twelve year old but in that moment he very much seemed young, and scared with good reason. "What if he finds my family?"

"Your family will stay here, in the servants' quarters. I believe the apartment is free, that should be enough space." Elizabeth seemed determined to make that happen. "I will need to go get them, because Clement's mother knows me."

"My job..." Clement just realized, he was being replaced as errand boy.

Elizabeth gave the boy a gentle smile, " This is a perfect time for you to learn about some of the other jobs around here. Do not worry, you will have a job here as long as you want."

Clement seemed relieved by that response. He was far calmer than earlier.

"Lady Elizabeth I will accompany you." Sung volunteered himself; like she had a choice anyway. "Clement, I will also have some work for you," Sung said smiling at the boy. "WHEN, your other work is done and you have time," instructed Sung. "I am sure you will have plenty to do Young Man," added Sung.

Lady Elizabeth, when will this retrieval happen?" asked Sung.

"Soon Mr. Sung, first though, Clement, is there anything else you can tell us?" Elizabeth asked the boy.

"He had two men with him, muscular though not as much as Mr. Cronk." Clement said. "The man said I was to go with him, but I did not trust him."

"You did fine Clement." Elizabeth then turned to one of the servants. "Alex will you see to it Clement gets some lunch, and a little something extra for his troubles."

A wiry built man, probably in his very early twenties, with curly hair, practically the color of acorns, responded. "Yes, Lady Elizabeth. Please come along Clement."

"Thank you, Lady Elizabeth." Clement said, both Clement and Alex bowed before leaving the room.

"Harold, I am not sure when Mr. Wayneright will be here. Please let him know I will be back shortly." Elizabeth stated, before turning back to Sung. "I need just a few minutes. Ten minutes and I will meet you at the door." She paused, and addressed the other team members. "We will have the meeting once Mr. Sung and myself have returned."

"My Lady" Sung replied. standing once more and giving a bow and walking off in the direction of his room. He would take his sword Windeu Hebeunseu with him under his matching light trench coat to somewhat hide the sword.

Sung adjusted the sling placing the sword on his left side. He grabbed the top of the sheath with his left hand pushing down making the sword hilt face forward. Dropping to Battōjutsu Iaidoa stance. His right hand drew his sword making two attacks and sheathing his sword all happening in about 3.5 seconds. Sung smiled "junbiga doen" (Ready) he mumbled.

Cronk went ahead and strode outside. He made a good search around the outside perimeter of the property. He took the opportunity to enjoy another cigar the maid had left for him. He wasn’t interested in stealth, not that Cronk could be stealthy. This was the property of his Boss. His team. No stealth was needed. He had hoped to see the evil doctor sulking about, but the search was to no avail. And since the lad didn’t know which way the evil man went, any attempt to pursue would be futile.
