OOC - Lore Fragment : Legion of Sol

The Legion of Sol or legion of the sun are an independent army of errant knights. They are more tolerant of magic and the elder races than most men and even allow elves and dwarves into their ranks as long a they take the sacred oath.

As servants of the Sun Goddess Sol they take it upon themselves to bring light to all corners of the land and have been known to level entire cities in order to purge the land of their corruption.

They follow the word of the "book of light" with a religious zeal and are swift to punish any that stray from its path. The Law of Light can be summaries in the following prayer:

"Purity is light
Truth is light
Justice us light
We walk in the light and with it we light the world"
