Pain Leads To Truth...

Mar heard Thrass's words. "I need you to find Mira and Ghost. Get them to safety! Please!"

The Assassin was hurled back by the Force and careened into a market stall. The armored assassin shook its head in a daze before getting back up, switching to a grenade he rolled it into the middle of the market floor and it began pumping out a benign gas that obscured Serenity's vision.

Mar was quick to close his eyes, let The Force flow through him and reveal the enemy as it drew close.... Serenity seemed too emotional to focus at the moment, unable to sense the assassin as it prepared to strike. Rage rose up in Mar. Then Mar Reached out...

"Serenity!" Mar shouted.

The gas cleared and The Assassin was hovering in the air. Mar had him with the Force... and he began to crush every bone in the assassin's body... His red saber crackling as it cast a blood red haze with help from the remaining gas from the grenade...

An all too familiar sight... one that had haunted both Serenity and Mar for most of their lives...

Mira and Ghost left Mandalore's throne room. Mira wanted to cradle the poor girl in her arms, try and remind her everything was not entirely lost. But she also admitted she couldn't begin to fathom the pain she was going through.

Keran had been silent this entire time. Yet finally spoke up. "Ghost... do not be afraid. You are not alone here..."

"Yeah." Mira said. "I know things look bleak, but we have your back. We'll keep you safe and try to help you however we can." Mira smiled at the girl, but was unsure if their words were helping. "Come on, Ghost... Let's get back to the inn..." They started down the street, unaware of the Imperial assassin lurking on the rooftops above them...

The Ninth Sister smirked. "Then what is Jin Lor if not your master?" She lunged at him, swinging her saber in a wild and easily deflected blow. She was toying with him. She had to play this smart. He was a formidable opponent with his healing ability... But she knew his weakness, it was a matter of getting him to lower his guard at the right time...
