Moonlight Stroll

Bonfire Saturday Night Beach Party

JP with Jaxx

[i]Justin winked at Ashley as she was very perceptive. He felt bad for Jack but knew Jack was on his own with Ashley. Then Jack went to get snacks and drinks from the food trucks for himself, Ashley and Blossom.[i]

Kyle waited, a little off to the side of the entrance to the trails for Justin. He really wanted to spend some alone time with the other boy. He had been too busy at the talent show to spend any time with him.

Justin walked past several single and paired up students as he was looking for Kyle. He found it cute to see the couples holding hands, the singles were watching on with a tinge of envy in their eyes. He could relate to that since he too, wished to date someone special. Since Justin was a romantic at heart, he loved the idea of a moonlit romantic walk on the beach while holding hands with that special someone. However he still had to be careful since he had encountered a lot of animosity from others for being gay, in the past. Even though time changes a lot of things in life it still hasn't changed society to be completely accepting to those who are different. So, Justin checked his phone again and looked around to see if he was close to the meeting spot. After a bit of walking he saw a shadow and walked towards it.

Justin: Kyle is that you?

Kyle smiled when he heard Justin's voice. He turned and saw him. "Yes."

Kyle had been through the problems of others not accepting him and it has caused some problems in the past but he also just wanted to be himself. Still, he wasn't one for outing someone else and, when it came to Justin, he was still trying to figure some things out about the boy.

When Justin got close enough Kyle said, "Would you want to take a walk?" The areas back in the paths were far more private and Kyle knew of a few more secret ones. Ones where they could actually be away from prying eyes.

Justin smirked at Kyle's suggestion as if he was up to no good. Then he looked Kyle with a sly smile and replied.

Justin: Sure sounds nice. I do like how beautiful it is here at night time. Some would even call it romantic considering the moonlight and mood.

Justin then walked side by side with Kyle as the cool breeze flowed through his wavy golden hair.

Justin: When I first heard I was coming to this school I was not sure what to expect. I wasn't sure if I would fit in or even like the the environment, but I am glad I came here now. This place has a lot of nice people here, despite the snobs and jerks.

"Yeah, I suppose it would be romantic...to some." Kyle grinned back at him.

They started walking and when they weren't around anyone Kyle let his hand gently graze Justin's hand. He was gauging the other boy's response to that.

"I was the same way when I first came here. My last school, was, lets just say not the most inviting place to anyone who was different. I'm so glad this place is different. Every place has its share of jerks but, you're right, most of the people are nice." Kyle paused for a moment. " For what it's worth. I'm glad you came here, as well."

Justin gave a coy smirk as Kyle was flirting with him. He noticed the hand graze earlier and didn't flinch as he was hoping Kyle had the guts to hold his hand.

Justin: Thanks. Its nice to hear that. By the way I know this sounds a bit forward of me to say this, but you looked mega hot on stage. I can imagine there is a long line of girls who would kill to trade places with me right now. So is there a special someone in your life at the moment?

Justin gave Kyle a crooked smile as he waited for an answer.

"Thanks. I don't know about a long line of girls but, yeah, there might be a few." He grinned. "I guess that would matter more if I was attracted, at all, to them. At the moment, I'm single." There was someone special but being he was waking with him Kyle didn't think they were to the point that could say that, yet. He then turned the questions towards Justin . "So, what about you. I've seen more than a few girls eyeing you as well. Is there anyone special in your life?"

Justin smirk at Kyle's question as he was enjoying their game of who will confess first.

Justin: You are too kind. I think the girls just want me go shopping with them since we have that in common. As for that special someone.......well that remains to be seen.

Justin gave Kyle a coy smile as he slowly approached Kyle and moved a few strands of hair to the side.

Justin: You really are gorgeous you know that? It wouldn't be hard for anyone to get lost in your eyes. So, what do you see when you look at me?

Justin had a calm and polite smile on his face as he gently took Kyle by the hand and waited for his answer.

Kyle let a soft smile cross his lips. The back and forth was kind of fun. What did he see? "I see someone whose beautiful. Someone, whose eyes I would really like to stare into." By this point they had walked off the path slightly and there was no one around. "And you have the most amazing lips. Lips I'd really like to kiss." He grinned and took Justin's hands in his. "Is that what you want?" He asked softly.

Justin smirked at Kyle's question. He was feeling giddy by the romantic awkwardness of their situation. It was good that they were alone since this would definitely draw a lot of attention for the other students. As Justin admired Kyle's appearance he was also appreciative that Kyle not only found them some privacy, but a rather romantic scene as well. It felt like a scene in a romance movie or novel. Then he wet his lips in preparation to answer Kyle's question. Justin then slowly moved forward and pulled Kyle close and gave him a gentle kiss on the lips. He then touched his forehead to Kyle's forehead as he was breathing rather nervously.

Justin: Well is that all you want?

The kiss was nice. Gentle and sweet and while Kyle hadn't known Justin long it felt right. With there foreheads light touching Kyle quietly answered the question with a "No." It wasn't all he wanted.

Kyle moved just enough to kiss Justin, this time letting this kiss linger longer. Letting time pass them for several moments. He took Justin's hand and led him to another area off to the side where he pulled Justin in and kissed him again. When they finally came up for air Kyle said. "I wish this night could last longer." There were still things he wanted to ask Justin, things he wanted to tell him. He didn't want to break the moment but until it happened it would be hard for their relationship to go much further.

Justin was rather enjoying the mood as Kyle got the courage to kiss him back. It was a romantic and passionate kiss that revealed how serious Kyle was about Justin. Justin also wanted the mood to go on but he knew they would need to breath after a while. Then Kyle spoke about wanting the moment to go on longer. Justin decided to play a bit as he put a finger on Kyle's lips for a moment as he spoke softly.

Justin: Down boy. I like the direction this is going and the pleasant mood, but we don't need to risk getting caught on day one. Besides we still barely know each other at the moment. If you are as into this as I am, I think we should find a comfortable pace......don't you think?

Justin then caressed Kyle's cheek as he kissed Kyle on the nose, and smiled a bit as he slowly pulled away.

"Yes, we should get to know each other better before going any further." Kyle smiled at the kiss on his nose. It was rather cute. He lead Justin to a bench so they could sit down. "OK, I think we should get to know each other just a little better. So, let's talk." He thought for a moment. "I don't even know where your from. So, let's start with that." They had talked about tastes in music, movies, clothes. What they enjoyed doing in their spare time but not really anything about their home lives or past.

Justin chuckled as he said he would go first as he told Kyle he was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and his parents, both in the fashion industry. They moved a lot so he traveled the world. he has been to Milan, Italy, Paris France, London, New York, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Rome, Amsterdam, Berlin, Madrid, Shanghai, Barcelona and several more. He loved seeing new cultures and fashion like his parents did. Since they were very open minded they accepted his gay life style without any qualms. In the past he had a few crushes but nothing serious since he knew he would have to move eventually. As for settling down he knew he would be at this school for at least four years now so he was fine with a longer commitment now. He mention how he also wanted to work in the fashion industry but needed to earn his place first by winning some UIL competitions and selling some stuff online. He also mention he loved art, world culture, dancing and music so Kyle being able to sing was a good thing. Then Justin decided to let Kyle chime in.

Justin: Now its your turn. Tell me more about yourself.

"I was born and raised in LA. My Dad is a record producer and my mom was a concert Cellist with the LA Symphony Orchestra. So. I've been around all types of music my whole life. I've traveled some but not as much as you have. England, New York, Jamaica, Tokyo, all over California and I've been to your hometown twice. Mostly to see some really great concerts but I also enjoyed taking in the culture there, as much as I could. My parents were, also, very understanding. I had a boyfriend in the past but he was more of a summer thing. He ,pretty much, forgot about me once he left to go home. I had some issues, in my last school, with some of the kids when they found out I was gay. I decided going to high school with those kids wouldn't be good so I looked at boarding schools. Sakura not only had a great music program but they said they'd allow me to take film classes at the local college. So, I ended up here." Kyle said. He mentioned he also liked all the things Justin had said, as well. He explained he'd be entering UIL as they had a film category. That he wanted to be a a film maker.

Justin smiled as he and Kyle had a lot in common. He could imagine himself with Kyle in the future living in West Hollywood and taking strolls on the beach after eating at a posh restaurant. It was a pleasant image in his mind as he looked up at the moonlight before looking back at Kyle and running his fingers through his hair.

Justin: There is a posh little restaurant in West Hollywood called La Boheme. It is like having a posh setting in a park. I think you would like it. What say we try that place out next break we get?

Justin then gently held onto Kyle's hand and he was enjoying the romantic setting.

Justin: Too bad some the Hard Rock restaurants closed down. They were always fun to see during my travels. Perhaps we might find a few still around? Unless you have other preferences?

"That sounds nice." Kyle said about the restaurant.

He mentioned the Hard Rock cafes. "I've been to a few of those. The one in LA is still opened. I've been to that one several times."

Justin had mentioned them spending break together. Which made Kyle happy but also surprised him a little. "So, I think I need to ask this so I don't overstep what you're comfortable with. How open are you?" The question clearly asking how open Justin was about his sexuality. It still wasn't completely clear to Kyle and he never wanted to make the other boy feel uncomfortable. If he didn't care if the school knew that was very different than wanting no one to know or even just their friends.

Justin smirked at Kyle as he knew where this was going. Then he pondered for a bit as he collected his thoughts.

Justin: Good question. Well I am very comfortable in my life style of being gay and have no need to deny it. However to avoid static from the gay bashers, I don't go around waving a rainbow flag either.

Justin looked at Kyle as he had a good idea where Kyle was going with this.

Justin: I don't think I have to fight the world just to exist. Haters will always hate and life still goes on. So I deal with it on a case by case basis. And you?

"I am pretty open. I mean I don't hide it either but I'm more likely to tell the truth if asked than shout it from the rooftops. I would be fine though letting people know I'm dating someone or holding hands in public. I don't fight the haters as much as I want to fight more for our right to just exist and have the same rights as everyone else. I will admit though I came out to my last school and something happened to me that caused me to be not as opened as I had been." He paused. "Just so you know I'd never go with more than what your comfortable with but if you asked me if I'd like to just be open to people about where we stand with each other; especially our friends I'd have to say yes."

Justin nodded as he agreed with Kyle's suggestion. There was no need to be in a rush and Jack was quick to not care that Justin was gay in the slightest. If the others were as accepting then they would not have to many issues. However they would still have to worry about the jerks who would cause them trouble. So Justin thought that it would be better to take it slow and limit their public affection for now. Perhaps they could drop their guard after high school unless something changed.

Justin: Like the guy from the movie said "Life is like a box of chocolates and you never know what you're gonna get."

Justin then gave Kyle's hand a gentle squeeze as he shifted it a bit.

Justin: So lets take it slow and see where the wind puts us. Oh since are telling certain close friends, I should mention that Jack, the guy with Ashley, already knows and is cool with it. He even asked me for help getting his girl some jewelry to get out of the doghouse. Poor guy is already owned by her and has no clue, but they do make a cute couple. Who else knows about you?

While Kyle was more than willing to take it slow his mind was going to to a few months and then being more open in public. The idea of waiting a few years until after he, or even longer Justin, graduated never crossed his mind.

He laughed at the, Forrest Gump, quote. "Well, it is one of the wisest quotes ever."

"That sounds good." As for who knew. "My list is a bit longer. I belong to the LBGTQS alliance at the school. So, some of the people from that. Riley knows Dawn, April, Heath, JD, Conner, Matt, Rose, Sam." He thought for a moment. Ashley and Jack know. I'd say Blossom but its hard to tell with her. Do you remember the first day of school? We were all sitting together but you showed up late?"

Justin shrugged a bit as he was unaware of this. Apparently he did miss out on that tid bit of info since he was late to lunch that day because he was trying to get to a stopping point on a fashion project. However after hearing the names of the group they hung out with he felt a bit better since they already accepted Kyle.

Justin: yeah i guess I missed out on that part. Well it is reassuring that the others were cool with you being gay. So if that is the case I think they won't mind seeing us getting closer.

Justin held Kyle's hand with both of his hands at this moment as he smiled at Kyle. He had a charming smile on his face as he had an idea.

Justin: So should we tell the group or let them figure it out. To be honest i think it would be fun to see the expressions on their faces as they put it together.

Justin gave Kyle a little head jiggle as he waited to see what Kyle would say.

Kyle grinned a bit at the suggestion of letting them figure it out. "I think we can let them figure it out. It won't take long, I'm sure. So, do we want to go and let them know?"
