Conner looked over to Melissa with a glint in his eye. "You can ambush me anytime. I should get your name before whip cream.

Melissa breathed a laugh. "It's Melissa."

Elena spoke up and mentioned JD being worth it. Apparently, she thought so. Melissa was more cautious on the inside than she let it show. Still, she just watched as JD walked away after saying Conner was no help. Before, she turned back to the boy standing near her. "Well, maybe we can continue this flirting later but I should probably get over there." Nodding to where the cheerleaders were starting practice. "it was nice meeting you." And with a wink to Conner, she ran off to the other cheerleaders.
