A Tight Spot And A Familiar Face

Mira nodded then frowned when Serenity announced another Jedi presence. "What are you talking about?"

Keran raised a hand. "Serenity's right. I sense a young Jedi... and... something else. We must make haste to the temple..." He hopped off towards the shuttle as the others made their way to it.

Except by the time they approached the temple they found a number of TIE fighters circling overhead while a platoon of Stormtroopers were establishing a FOB at the base of the temple.

It didn't take long for the TIE fighters to start firing on the shuttle, forcing it down into the jungle just outside the temple.

Mira's expert piloting managed to grant them a safe, though not very soft, landing.

It didn't take long for Stormtroopers to surround the shuttle. Keran was the first to suggest to the group they surrender.

"I don't like that idea, Keran." Mira said.

Keran frowned. "They're here for a reason we must discover... if we play the role of prisoner we may be able to do so." He looked to the others. "Are we in agreement?"

Cutting down the Mandalorians was easier than Mar expected. Soon the group was on the Phoenix and about to jump to hyperspace when someone locked them down with a tractor beam. Soon a massive stun field ran through the ship knocking the group out.

When they woke up they found themselves in a large cell stripped of their weapons. On the opposite side of an energy barrier stood a tall, lithe, chiss male garbed in the uniform of a Grand Admiral.

"Good, you are awake... I apologize for the crude means I have used to facilitate this meeting."

Mar lowered his gaze at the chiss. "Who are you?"

"Grand Admiral Mitth'raw'nuruodo... Most simply call me... Thrawn..."

Liden froze as she stared at the chiss. "I know you..."

"As do I know you, Grand Inquisitor Liden..." Thrawn said with a cold glance with his crimson eyes. "I have been searching for you."
