Hey dudes, just wanted to let you know that I’ve upped the size of the image that gets used for the game profile and character profiles. The maximum size is now 460 x 345.
You can (and always have been) able to upload images much larger than this, but it’s always been crunched down to a much smaller size by the crop tool. Read More

I linked to an article making the case that the Doctor and Sherlock are Mary Sues on our Facebook page yesterday and the reaction was mixed, so I thought it be worth sharing here to guage opinion and perhaps discuss.
I can see where the author is coming from. Both characters are awesome, perhaps too awesome that they’re bordering on superheroes, and don’t have a lot of much-needed flaws. Read More

I’m hoping to get a discussion going in the comments here. What are your opinions about godmodding?
I’ve seen games fall apart, and arguments caused because of a player godmodding (if you don’t know what godmodding is, see here). But I’ve also seen plenty of people realise their mistakes and learn from it, making them a better roleplayer and a better storyteller afterwards. Read More
