Left for Fun

The relief she felt was like a rush of giddy pleasure. She laughed as Alex danced about the room, an odd gangly, bouncy movement to the music. The song reached it's creshendo and ended. Jade and Alex became acutely aware that they were now being watched.

"Oh!" She exclaimed, turning her back on the group, to preserve a modicum of modesty. She elbowed Alex.

"Don't you hagve a jackey I can borrow?" She hissed as the strange lizard creature sniffed about her ankles.

"Yeah, you cut it up..." He hissed back.

"Ah... Sorry..." She sighed. The song started up again. They both looked at the jukebox, damaged from the bodilly impact it looked like it was going to play the one record on loop.

"You guys done now? Can we leave?... You know, crazy psycho clowns are after us..." Jacky asked, adjusting the goggels on his head, trying not to look too closely at the shirt-ripped Jade.

"You know, I'm too tired to hit you with a witty retort right now." Jade grumbled. There was a deep bass rumble from within the depths of the fun house. Zog growled, the scales over his haunches seeming to puff up and bristle like the hackles on a dog.

"I like, totally think we should be, like, totally leaving this unrighteous joint." Jaxe waffled, his surfer talk grating on all those in the room.

"Yeah, whatever that was it can't be good." Evelina tugged on Jaxx elbow, pulling him towards the exit. The group began to leave, Alex offering a hand down to Jade to help her up out of the floatation room.

"You know I don't think you are an idiot really, right?" She whispered so the others couldn't hear. He blushed an embarassed, frustrated shade of magenta and said nothing.

Group two had been pushed pack to the entrance of the park by the clowns. They were holding out in the water park. Jamie having amped up the pressure of the kids water guns and turned them into water cannons. The author briefly wondered how amusing it would have been for Phil to be in this situation right now with his coulrophobia.

"Look out Kat!" Cass bellowed across the park, turning her water gun on an advancing pack of clowns. They rolled backwards, noses honking and shoes flapping.

'Now I've... Had... The time of my life...'

The music blared out from the fun house across the court yard.

"What the smeg now?" Cass grumbled, taking out some frustration by ramping up the pressure on her cannon again.

"We need to keep the path to the fun House clear for the ohers." Katrina said, shaking some hair out of her eyes.

"We need to stay alive, they could be dead in there." Cass grumbled. Although she did adjust the angle of the cannon to reflect an easier getaway.

'This could be love! Be-cause...'

"TAKE THAT THOU FOUL REALITY SPAWN!" Artie screamed, hair flying wild in his mania, jumping into the clowns. He cocked the flame thrower like a shotgun and unleashed it upon the advancind hordes in a flaming circle. A bright swath of nylon fabrics and coloured wigs went up in flame. Alien howls came from the crowd and several backed away from the water park entrance. "THIS IS MY BURN STICK!" He cackled gleefully. Cutting swaths through the advancing zom... Clowns.

Group one burst out of the doors to the fun house at a run. Slowing to look for the exit, they saw the wet path through the clowns to the exit.

"Run!" Jade yelled to the water park group. Not stopping or slowing down to explain why.

"RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHH!" The creature burst out of the fun house, making a new door. It was at least ten foot tall, and at least 6 foot wide, muscled and angry. Maybe it didn't like Dirty Dancing? The dwarfers turned their water cannons on the tank like beast and it just kept on coming. It bent down to pick up a huge slab of concrete, ripping it from the ground with an audible squeel of resistance from the ground.

"Run!" Echoed Cass, turning and legging it for the holo-tree. The concrete slammed into the water park hut, fractions of seconds after Jamie exited the building.

"Crap!" Jamie yelped, knocked of his feet temporarilly.

"RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHH!" The tank bellowed, advancing at an unearthly speed for something so big.

The group of twelve dwarfers sprinted at various speeds of injury through the park. Jamie, spured on by his close encounter simply vaulted the turn-styles and reached the exit ropes placed by the dwarfers first. The more wounded, and the ones who had beens tabbed in the leg with scissors bringing up the rear.

White Wolf simply bounded from the turnstyle to the ticket booth roof and up out the hole, reaching down a paw to haul up Candy who was nearly at the top of a rope. Cass and Katrina were able to scale the ropes like little ninjas. Jade scowled at their competancy, panting for breath. It had been a long while since basic training and she wasn't as fit as she used to be. She grabbed a free rope, the others taken up by Pliskin and Jacky.

"RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHH!" Came the cry of the beast from the park, a lump of concrete crached about 30 feet away.

"Move it spaghetti arms!" Alex twitched, his leg thrumming with a firey ache.

"I'm going as fast as I can" Jade huffed.

"Move faster" He paniced and without thinking placed both hands on her ass to give her a boost up the rope so one of the others could grab her.

"Ow... Alex!" She complained sharply, as someone grabbed the hand that was extended up.

"RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHH!"

"CrapCrapCrap" Alex muttered, beginning to climb. As he did the ropes were hauled up and he was able to just cling on and be lifted to safty.

"Mr Wolf... If you would be so kind... As to shut the door on that dimention... That would be most usefull about now I think." Artie said gasping for breath.
