Hola

The next class Rose and Sam didn't have together. So, while Rose headed off to Art, Sam headed off to Spanish Class. She knew some Spanish, already but wouldn't be what anyone would call fluent in it. Rose, on the other hand, already knew Italian fluently and had opted out of taking a foreign language for art.

Sam walked into Spanish and looked around. There were a few people she recognized from Language Arts class and two girls from gymnastics who waved her over. She went and sat by them.

Both girls were Sophomores and really nice; at least to her and she hadn't really seen them be mean to anyone. One of the girls, a redhead, who had the best bar routine turned to her "So. How was break for you?"

"Good," Sam replied then the three of them just sat there talking about summer break until class started.

Zander had wondered about skipping Freshman year. He was given leeway on somethings because he tested out of them but he still needed to fill credits. Having already taken Latin and knowing a good deal of Spanish he decided to take Spanish to fill some of those credits; after all, he needed some classes to make him seem more well rounded.

This time though he spotted some familiar faces, not that he really knew them they had just had one class together. He did hear a "Hey, Zander." before looking up to see one of the nerds he had already made friends with. He sat next to him and the two talked about a recent sci-fi novel they both loved.

The last and surprising person to enter Spanish Class was Doug. He was a junior but had put off this class as long as possible. He wasn't interested in taking music, art, or anything like that and did want to graduate eventually. He walked in with a few "Hey, Doug." by the other rich kids. When he spotted a familiar face in the room. Damn. He had to have this class with his brother. He felt a slight angry rising up inside of him. His nerdy brother who could have opted out of this class. Why was he here? He suddenly felt like he should find another section to be moved to or another class, anything else but he needed to take this.

Doug, on the outside, however, just seemed like Doug. He purposely walked past Zander's desk; making a quick sweeping motion, he knocked Zander's books to the floor. Zander took a breath and looked up at Doug.

"What Nerd? You got a problem?" Doug practically hissed his words at his brother.

Zander took another breath. "Nope, no problem." Maybe, cooler heads could prevail.
