Just An Idea

When Dante saw that people wanted to hear more, he looked around, then over his shoulder behind him. And when he saw the coast was clear a devilish smile made its way across his face. "Now," he said, "you didn't hear this from me." he leaned in close to the center of the table, and in a loud whisper. "Nix told me that she tossed Joey and Charlie ass over tea kettle when they tried hitting on her." he started, "From what she said they looked like they had more of an 'awakening' than a teen girl watching Labyrinth for the first time." he chucked. "Either way, would have paid to see her toss those idiots into the sand. Probably deserved it or she'd not have bothered with them." he shrugged, and adjusted his glasses, different from the ones he had on yesterday.

"Still though, Nix might not be as strong or skilled as you Ash but she'd give you a run for your money for putting the screws to a guy who tries getting grabby." Dante said, meaning it as a compliment.

Jack smirked as he snorted a bit. Ashley then nonchalantly pinched the inside of Jack's thigh and caused he to yep a bit. Then she tilted her head to the side as she gave Dante a smarmy smile.

Ashley: Nix sounds like a very capable girl.

Then Ashley looked at Jack and smiled wickedly.

Ashley: Right Jack?

Jack looked grumpy as usual as he rubbed his sore leg. He was regretting his involuntary snort at this point and now Ashley put him on the spot to speak on this subject. So he sighed as he motivated himself to speak up.

Jack: Yeah those horn dogs had it coming. I'm more surprised it doesn't happen more often to them.

Blossom: Really?

Jack: Who knows with this school.

Ashley: I think Jack means a lot of the girls at this school should stand up for themselves more instead of putting up with rude macho pervs. Right Jack?

Jack: Uhhhh.....Yeah.

Justin: Sadly there is no shortage of guys like that.

Ashley: I know right? Maybe we should start a self defense club so the girls here can stand up to those jerks.

Jack moaned a bit since he wanted to avoid this conversation before he got involved so he stuffed some cookies in his mouth to avoid talking.

Blossom: What kind of stuff would you learn in that club?

Ashley looked at Jack who was obviously avoiding the topic as he stuffed his mouth. Hoping to bail Jack out of trouble Justin spoke up.

Justin: Well it would involved some kind of fighting technique to help the girls defend themselves.

Blossom: Like Wrastlin?

Ashley: Yes exactly. Wrestling, Boxing, Karate, Akido and other Martial Arts. Of course not Kung Fu though.

Blossom: Why not Kung Fu? I thought it was popular?

Ashley: Its to old and predicable now. Unless you mix it with another martial art its useless.

Justin: Did you learn that from your dad?

Ashley: Yeah my dad did a expo event with other martial artists in the ring in some Hollywood studio and moped the floor with that Kung Fu master. It looked like a bad beat down, but dad was right. His moves were easy to read, especially his Drunken Monkey.

Blossom: Wow you really know a lot about that stuff Ashley.

Ashley: Meh. My dad taught me and Jack early on. Right Jack?

Jack nodded as he stuffed his face again. Ashley then kissed his cheek for being good, then she replied.

Ashley: The problem would be getting permission and enough student to get it going. If we need a certified instructor, Jack and I are Blackbelts in Shotokan Karate and I also have a blackbelt in Aikido, while Jack is still a brown belt. Its great exercise and gives you a strong core on top of being able to protect yourself.

Blossom: Oh wow.

Justin: Well we could ask around if there is enough interest in it.

Ashley: Maybe. I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask around. So what do you all think?

Ashley looked around at the others to see their response.
