She paused to allow what she had said to sink in
“Can I suggest that an engineer heads up each team? Beyond that, please be careful – It’s bloody dangerous work and we don’t need anyone getting killed!”

Jaxx looked at Cassandra like she was speaking a foreign language to everyone. Evelina looked at Jaxx and asked, "What's wrong Jaxx?" Jaxx looked at Evelina and said, "You know Eve babe when that lady Mrs. Jones talks this weird alien language comes out of her mouth." Evelina chuckled as she said, "You had trouble understanding her didn't you?" Jaxx nodded as he said, "All I got Eve babe was we are "Miming" something. Whats a Mime?" Evelina smiled as she said, "Not Miming....Mining Jaxx. We are mining for resources to rebuild the ship. She said we need pilots and engineers to make teams."

Jaxx scratched his head as he said, "Ohhhhhhhhh......that's makes sense." Then Jaxx realized something and made a sad face. Evelina asked, "Still confused." Jaxx rubbed his neck nervously as he answered, "Well.... Eve babe...... ya see I kinda can't do any of that nerdy stuff. Davie said I like used to be a smart monster shark dude, but then I got sick and my sickness half lobotomized me. So now I'm just like stupid and stuff." Evelina tried to contain her laughter as she thought of something to cheer up Jaxx, but was rudely interrupted by Seymour who said, "Finally we can agree on something Mr. Jaxx."

Evelina gave Seymour a mean face as she thought of something mean to say. Jaxx put his had on Evelina's shoulder as he smiled at Seymour and chuckled as he said, "Ya got me there Ambassador dude. You are like prolly really smart and stuff, especially compared to me huh?" Seymour smugly smiled as he answered, "Well now that you bring it up I have been properly educated in the finest establishments." Jaxx then asked,"I guess people like you help make GELFs like me huh?" Seymour still smug answered, "Well when need for such experiments or improvements comes about I or others like myself have been known to negotiate such matters to ensure proper success and all."

So that like makes you better than me huh?" Seymour still smug answered, "Well I don't like to brag but..." Then Jaxx asked, "Hmmm.. so like if your better than me and stuff how come you can't make yourself some new legs so you can like wash your own clothes? Seymour scoffed at Jaxx as he gasped, "I never." Some of the crew got a chuckle by Seymour's reaction as he wheel himself away.

Jaxx and Evelina got up and headed out the door. Evelina was trying to contain her laughter as she staggered out the door. If not for Jaxx holding her up she would have tripped and face planted into a wall. After catching her breath Evelina wiped the tears away. Jaxx smiled at Evelina as he said, "You ok Eve babe?" Evelina nodded as she caught her breath, "Your to much sometimes. Anyway don't worry about the mining stuff I'll take care of that since I am a Navigator. Why don't you take this time to rest your wounds and have Holly catch you up where everything on the ship is." Jaxx looked at Evelina and asked, "Whose Holly?"

Suddenly Jaxx was startled by a voice behind him saying, "You rang?" Jaxx looked around till he saw the floating head on the screen and said, "Whhhhooooaaaa dude. Your like a floating head dude." Holly looked at Jaxx oddly and said, "Wut happened to em?" Evelina smiled at Holly and answered, "Holly Jaxx lost his memory on the plant we were on. While we are mining can you show him around the ship and catch him up to speed on things?" Holly grinned and said, "Sure thing Miss Stone." Evelina looked at Jaxx and said, "Ok Jaxx if you want to talk to him again just call his name out loud." Jaxx smiled as he said, "Thanks Eve babe your the best." Evelina waved to Jaxx as she ran off to join the mining teams. Jaxx waved to Evelina as he walked back to the room he slept in to take a shower and look at his bandages.
