Bad Timing

Erik felt a weight fall from his shoulders as he felt the strong winds of the north wash over him. He stopped as he exited, taking in the sight of the open world, sweet freedom from the cramped depths.
"Ancestors be praised! Never thought we would see the light again."
Dyvia stood next to the giant, glad to be above ground although the cold was a bit much.
"Radis, I'd assume after that adventure you'd want to find another group to travel with?"
------------
Theo finally broke through the snow, glaring at the crevice he had climbed up and cursing it. Taking a moment to rest, he turned his head, almost making out someone talking.
Heaving onto his feet, he traveled quickly but carefully to the source, catching movement not far into the descent.
"Finally you old prune, nowhere to hide."
Letting momentum build his speed, he lunged and tackled his target.
Kespin had stopped to touch a branch full of berries before he was knocked out by a sudden impact.
Satisfied with how little struggle there would now be, Theo stood and finally caught his breath. Turning to get his bearings, he froze as he saw a group nearby, made up of several races.
"By Odins hollow socket."
