I was emailed today by Chas Hammer (one of the Simming prize trustees), letting me know that he’s updated the Roleplay Wiki with the other Simming Prize winners (I posted last week to let you all know that OngoingWorlds was a winner – see here).
One of the other winners was our very own The Gamemaster from OngoingWorlds. The Gamemaster is in many games, such as Darkfalls, Hero High & Spellbound (see his profile here for a full list). Read More
Hey guys, just a quick notice here. We’re doing a sweep of inactive games that are 200+ days without a post. Sorry for the dirt while we’re cleaning!

One surefire way to stay on track and expand your creative skills is to make a trademark for yourself, something you use a lot and it carries with you from place to place. This can range from something such as a signature, a saying, something personal. But, in the case of a roleplaying site i.e. Ongoing Worlds, an easy way to make a trademark is to have an original character. Why are they important and how can they make you feel more comfortable in a rp setting? Read More

Wonder how we do our jobs? Wonder who we actually are? Whether we’re robots, human hybrids, or aliens? What we like to do in our spare time or just general boring questions? Is Dave really a tea powered robot? Well! Now you can! Read More

So you might have a Facebook page for your game on OngoingWorlds. If not, it’s a really good idea because:
- It helps people find your game
- It gives you a place to announce stuff
- People can follow your game easily, even if they don’t have time to play (usually called lurking)
Yup that’s right, only 3 weeks left. If you haven’t heard of Ambassador of Awesome, read the original article here. But basically you need to tell someone about OngoingWorlds to enter. The more people you tell, the more chances you have of winning.
So spread the love and be awesome!
Here’s to another year!
Today, June 22nd, 2014. Marks one year for me as an Ongoing Worlds member. The reason I’m making this is to thank the members of Ongoing Worlds and the countless number of the other big faces in role playing. Read More
Ongoing Worlds Community Honor
It give me great pleasure to present the 10th Ongoing Worlds Community Honor to none other than David Ball for founding Ongoing Worlds and leading it over the last 4+ years. Indeed, David has not only created a wonderful website where independent sims, both themed and original, can thrive, but he’s also developed an online blog that has now become the intellectual center of the online role playing community. Simply put, no one is more deserving of a community honor than David. Congratulations! Read More
